Every Andrina Yvette timepiece is powered by the NH35 — a Japanese automatic mechanical movement developed by Seiko.
What "automatic" actually means
A rotor inside the case swings as your wrist moves. That motion winds the mainspring, which stores energy and releases it in tiny, regulated increments through a gear train. There is no battery, no circuit board, and nothing that expires. The watch runs because you are wearing it.

Why we chose it
The NH35 is not the most exotic movement available, and that is precisely the point. It is one of the most serviceable automatic movements in existence — any competent watchmaker anywhere in the world can open, clean and regulate it. A watch you cannot service is not an heirloom; it is a disposable object with a long warranty.
What to expect from a mechanical watch
Mechanical automatics typically run within roughly -20 to +40 seconds per day. If you want atomic accuracy, your phone is more precise than any mechanical watch ever made. What a mechanical movement offers instead is craftsmanship, longevity, and the fact that it will still be running long after the battery-powered alternatives have been thrown away.
Genuine Mother of Pearl
Mother of pearl — nacre — is the iridescent inner lining of a mollusc shell, formed in layers over years. Because those layers refract light rather than simply reflecting it, the surface shifts colour as you move.
Every dial we cut is different. This is not a manufacturing tolerance we tolerate; it is the reason we use the material. A printed dial is identical across ten thousand units. A mother of pearl dial belongs to one watch.
Working with it is slower. Nacre is brittle, must be cut thin, and rejects a meaningful percentage of blanks. We accept that cost.
72 Swarovski Stones
Each Classic Mother of Pearl dial is set with 72 Swarovski stones. Swarovski crystal is precision-cut to consistent facet angles, which is why it returns light evenly rather than in scattered flashes.
Case, Strap and Finishing
Classic Mother of Pearl Collection — 31.5mm case in gold, rose gold or silver finish. Stainless steel mesh bands or genuine leather straps in emerald green, ruby red, baby pink, baby blue and ivory white.
Legacy Collection — 41mm case with sunburst dial finishing. Top calf leather straps, hand-finished.
Water resistance — 50m (5 ATM) across both collections. Suitable for rain, handwashing and splashes. Not for swimming, showering or diving.
Warranty — 2-year international warranty on every timepiece.
